OSRS Quest Overview: A Complete List

A quest is a group of interrelated activities, usually involving a storyline, which can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours or even a few days to complete.

The starting areas for all queries have a blue compass icon on the mini-map, and completing them can offer rewards ranging from experience objects, and access to new locations, mini-games, and mini-quest.

As of April 14, 2021, there are a total of 148 Quest in Old School RuneScape with 22 free and 126 members only quest. The first demand was Cook’s Assistant and the newly added demand is below Below Ice Mountain. A total of 280 Quest points were awarded for the completion of all requirements, including 44  quest points from Quest available to free players. Players who have earned the highest number of quest points are eligible to purchase and wear a quest point cape.

Types of Quests

Quest Series

Many Old School RuneScape questions are part of a series of questions that share the same line of episodes. Progress in the demand chain is made in a straightforward manner, with each need requiring prior completion. There are, however, a few exceptions to this going forward, and it is often found where demand is involved in many building lines. Most of a series of demands are based on a particular location, and its completion often requires access to that area or specific features. For example, West Ardougne as a whole would not be accessible unless at least some progress had been made in the Elf demand chain.

Sub-quest

The subquest is part of another quest, which upon completion provides additional rewards and points of claim. Applications may take less time and require fewer resources, or they may have additional skill or demand requirements.

Disaster Recipe has ten requests (one for the recipe, one for each member of the Lumbridge council, and the last against the Culinaromancer manager).

Mini-quests

Miniquests are small pieces of news and skills content that are not needed in the cape point cape but are still told stories such as demand. Most mini-quest is smaller in size and shorter than the standard requirement but may have expandable requirements beyond standard requirements or none at all. Many are linked to existing content components or used to bind open limits from demands.

Conclusion

Most of us, including myself, enjoy Dragon Slayer 2 when it comes out. I enjoy the quests for the storylines but some still have an unfinished storyline. RS3 has those finished storylines but it would be nice if OSRS had those finished but still has a different approach to structure.
